George M. Armstrong, 86

Poestenkill- George M. Armstrong, 86,of Snyders Corners Road, entered into eternal rest at his home, Wednesday, November 8, 2006.

Born in Irwin, PA, he was the son of the late John Armstrong and Myrtle (Reidmond) Armstrong.

He had resided in Wynantskill since 1987.

Mr. Armstrong was an office worker for many years.

He was an avid Bible reader, enjoyed fishing and was an Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his beloved wife and caregiver of 21 years, Hazel Garcia Armstrong of Poestenkill; a daughter-Londra Armstrong of Texas and a grandson, David Diaz.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church Pawling Avenue Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Interment St. Mary's Cemetery in Troy.
