We had the good fortune to meet Fred while a student at Trinity College. Fred was a true gentleman, a hard worker, with a great sense of humor. We also had the opportunity to spend some time with Fred and Sandra at several college reunions, even though we lived far apart. Fred will be missed by all who knew him.

I am sorry for your loss. I knew Fred growing up in the 1940s and 1950s. I am a cousin of Fred's that grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. My parents were Leonard and Ruth (Scanlon) Johnson.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I had the privilege of working for and with Fred for many years at the bank. He was a gentleman in every sense and it was always a pleasure to be in his company.

Sandra, Fred was always a bright light at the bank. Lot's of humor with a nice
dose of common sense. On the golf course he loved to concentrate, but found
ways to add some "jabs" at his playing buddies.

Dear Gleason family,
I am sending my condolences to all of you at this time of great loss. Fred was not just a sweet soul but a true blue "gentle" man. I know Heaven is happy to have a man like Fred to show help show what true class and dignity is all about.
