Latham Frank G. 'WEB' Furciniti , 69 , died suddenly Friday, January 21, 2005 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy.

Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Vito Furciniti and Arminia (Nanarone) Furciniti. and husband for 49 years of Joan French Furciniti.

He was educated at St. Anthony's School in Troy. He resided in Troy the first half of his life and later in Latham.

Mr. Furciniti was employed by Ford Motor Company in Green Island for 30 years, retiring in 1989.

Frank served in the US Army from 1954-1956, stationed in Virginia and Louisiana. He attended Pawling Avenue United Methodist Church in Troy and was a communicant of St. Anthony's Shrine Church in Troy, as well as a member of the Troy Lodge of Elks #141 and United Auto Workers Local #930. He enjoyed all sports, vacationing, his family and precious grandsons. He also enjoyed his daily coffee time with his friends at Manory's in Troy.

Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters, Deborah Peters (William) of Troy and Lori Conrad (Robert) of Latham; three grandson, Joshua Jones of Troy, Chad Peters of Troy and Randy Furciniti of Latham; two brothers, Nicholas and Anthony Furciniti of Troy; a sister, Mary Crola of Halfmoon; three step grandchildren, William, Andy and Chris Peters and several nieces and nephews in Troy, Syracuse and California. He was predeceased by three brothers, John, Vito and Gerald Furciniti and a sister, Elizabeth (Liz) Bowell.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, at 11:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 4- 8 PM. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, in Wynantskill.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Furciniti to the Pawling Avenue United Methodist Church 520 Pawling Avenue Troy, NY 12180 or American Cancer Society 260 Osborne Road Loudonville, NY 12211.
