Troy - Francis J. Giuliano Jr., 60, of Troy died Sunday, September 30, 2012, at his residence after a six year battle with cancer.

Born in Troy, he was son of Francis J. Giuliano and Shirley Sowalsky Giuliano of Wynantskill. He was raised in Wynantskill and resided in Troy many years and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School and Hudson Valley Community College.

Frank was a machinist for CSX and formerly for Penn Central and Conrail for over 30 years, retiring 6 years ago.

Survivors in addition to his parents include two sons, Zachariah (Pat) Giuliano, North Carolina and Jeremiah Giuliano, Niskayuna,; a grandson, Vincent Giuliano; his former wife, Pamela Estes Giuliano, Liverpool; his siblings, Shirley (Curt) Ruhtz, Seminole, FL, Kevin (Julie) Giuliano, Brunswick, Susan (Erik) VanZandt, Clifton Park, Steven (Lori) Giuliano, Troy and Marc Giuliano, Troy and several nieces and nephews as well as his dear friends, the Rosekrans family.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Thursday from 4-7 PM.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 9 AM at the funeral home and at 9:30 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church Wynantskill where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Anthony Ligato , Pastor.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery Wynantskill.
