Francis 'Frank' C. Andriano, 84

East Greenbush - Francis 'Frank' C. Andriano, 84, of Pittsfield Avenue East Greenbush died Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Craneville Place in Dalton, MA after a brief illness.

Born in Albany, he was son of the late Salvatore Andriano and Jennie Morreale Andriano and husband for 57 years of Pauline Spataro Andriano. He had resided in Albany for 28 years and in East Greenbush most of his life. He was a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy and attended Siena College.

Mr. Andriano was employed as a sales supervisor for Mintzer Petroleum Corp. in Troy for 24 years, retiring in 1989.

He was an avid golfer, fisherman, gardener and cook and a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors in addition to his wife include three daughters, Charlene (Lee) Foster, Stephentown, Karen Andriano, Stephentown and Paula (Michael Van Ness) Andriano, Clifton Park; a sister, Marianna McCarthy, Colonie; a brother, Carl Andriano, Latham; his grandchildren, Melanie and Jason Schumann and William Foster; two brothers-in-law Mario Spataro, Troy and Dr. Carlo (Sharon) Spataro, Muskegon, MI and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Friday, March 25, 2011 from 3-5:00 PM. Funeral service will follow at 5 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Randall Patterson, Pastor of Our Lady of Victory Church, officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Francis C. Andriano to the charity of one's choice.
