Frances Y. Bayly Liebener

Troy - Frances Y. Bayly Liebener of Excelsior Avenue, Troy, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her residence on May 6, 2007 after a long illness surrounded by her loving family. Frances was born in Troy, New York, November 4, 1913. She was the daughter of the late Archer Bayly and Teresa Schumacher. She attended Troy Schools and graduated from Catholic Central High School in Troy and Pilzil Business School in Queens and was a life long parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Troy.

Frances was pre-deceased by her loving husband, Philip in 1981 and her son, Donn in 1998; her brothers, Bud and Norman Bayly, and a sister, Doris Bayly Pizzuti.

Frances was employed by the Norton Company in Watervliet, New York for where she made many friends and life-long associates. With her husband Philip, for many years they spent their summers at Crooked Lake and their winters in St. Petersburg, Florida. Throughout both their lives, Fran and Phil were devoted and loving parents to their children and grandchildren, sharing their time and leaving lifes best memories with them.

Frances is survived by her devoted daughter, Diane Frances Lammon (Raymond) of Troy, her sister, Jean Bayly Ross of Troy; a daughter-in-law, Leilani Liebener of Troy and her beloved grandchildren: Philip W. Liebener, Lori Liebener Elligot, Donn P. Liebener, Jr., R. Scott Lammon, Gregg R. Lammon, Daniel T. Lammon, David J. Lammon, Michael C. Lammon, and Andrew P. Lammon. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue and at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8 PM.

Interment St. Jean's Cemetery in Troy.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Sacred Heart Building Fund in Frances' name. A most heartfelt thank you to all the care givers of The Community Hospice of Rensselaer County for all their genuine compassion and kindness to Frances and the family. Lastly, to those family members and friends who shared their time and love with their presence and support.
