Floyd E. Coonradt, 73 North Greenbush Floyd E. Coonradt, 73, of Sharpe Road, died suddenly Thursday at his residence. Born in Hoosick, NY he was son of the late Loveman and Nellie Coonradt and husband of Jean Palitsch Coonradt for 52 years. He had resided in Wynantskill for the past 60 years. Mr. Coonradt was employed as a switcher for the Grand Union Company in Waterford for 32 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of the First Reformed Church of Wynantskill and a life member of the Wynantskill Fire Department and was a Navy veteran of World War II serving in the South Pacific. Survivors in addition to his wife include two sons Jeffrey C. Coonradt and Thomas G. Coonradt both of Wynantskill; two brothers Sherman A. Coonradt of Averill Park and C. Freddie Coonradt of Wynantskill; two grandchildren Emily G. and Darroch A. Coonradt both of Wynantskill and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two daughters Debra J. and Ronda B. Coonradt. Funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00am from the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. corner of Pawling at Maple Avenue Troy with Rev. Chad R. Schuitema, Pastor of the First Reformed Church of Wynantskill, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 4-7pm. Interment Memory's Garden in Colonie.
