Florence Hallman Connors , 91

Troy Florence Hallman Connors , 91 ,of Burdett Avenue, died Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center in Troy after a long illness.

Born in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Grover Hallman and Kathryn (Griffin) Hallman and wife of the late William M. Connors, well-known area attorney.

She had resided in the Troy area since 1945 and was educated at Norristown High School.

Mrs. Connors was a homemaker and many years ago was a pianist in many clubs.

She was a Samaritan Hospital Auxiliary volunteer for many years, a member of the VanRensselaer Garden Club and many years ago was associated with the Red Cross.

She is survived by a son, W. Michael Connors Jr. (Susan) of New Hope, PA; a daughter, Kathryn Connors Young of Troy; three grandchildren, Deirdre Young of Troy and William Robert and Andrew Michael Connors both of New Hope, PA; a sister, Kathryn Will (Daniel) of New Jersey; three brothers, Grover Hallman (Thelma), William Hallman and James Hallman (Betty) all of Pennsylvania and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 9:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and at 9:30 AM at St. Francis de Sales Church in Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery in Troy.
