Evelyn Willis

North Greenbush - Evelyn Willis, 95, of Blooming Grove Drive died Thursday, December 15, 2016, at Van Rensselaer Manor after a long full life.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Charles Willis Sr. and Hulda Strissel Willis.  She was born in North Greenbush and spent most of her adult life living and working in Hudson.  

Evelyn was a licensed Insurance Broker and Office Manager for Retz Insurance Agency in Hudson for many years.  She was also the past President of the Business and Professional Woman association and an Elder of the First Presbyterian Church, both of Hudson.

Evelyn is predeceased by her siblings, Charles Jr., John, Howard and Edward Willis.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Bruce Willis, Lynn Willis Kosnick, Nancy Willis Clarkson, and Kevin Willis as well as numerous great nephews and great nieces.

Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery Route 150 at Shaver Road in West Sand Lake at 2PM, 27 December 2016.

In lieu of flower, contributions may be made in memory of Evelyn Willis to the First Presbyterian Church, 369 Warren St, Hudson, NY 12534.
