Evelyn Scribven Carroll

Evelyn H. Scribven Carroll, 88

North Greenbush Evelyn H. Scribven Carroll, 88, of Blooming Grove Drive, died Monday at Samaritan Hospital Troy, after a long illness.

Born in Montreal, Canada she was daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Scribven. She had resided formerly on Moulds Avenue in Rensselaer.

Mrs. Carroll was employed on the housekeeping staff at the New York State Office of General Services in Albany.

She was a lover of animals.

There are no immediate survivors.

Friends are invited to attend the graveside service which will be held Wednesday at 12 noon at Blooming Grove Cemetery Route 4 in Defreestville. There will be no calling hours. Contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Carroll to the Mohawk and Hudson River Humane Society Oakland Avenue Menands, NY 12204.
