Eva Anita Rossi Knox, 82

Colonie- Eva Anita Rossi Knox, 82, of Loudonville and formerly of Troy, entered into eternal rest, Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at Rosewood Gardens in East Greenbush.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore Rossi and Felicia (D'Andrea) Rossi and wife of the late Joseph Knox.

She had resided in Troy most of her life and was a graduate of Averill Park High School.

Mrs. Knox retired in 1978 as a Supervisor at Montgomery Ward in Menands after 30 years.

She was a faithful parishioner and attended Colonie Christian Life Center for many years. She had a deep love and devotion to her family.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Catherine Knox of Loudonville, her cherished grandchildren, Colleen McGowan-Efstathiou of Loudonville, Pamela DeCelle of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Susan McDermott of Latham, Thomas DeCelle of Latham, Steven Wagoner of Clifton Park and Sarah Wagoner of Latham. She was predeceased by two daughters, Shirley Wagoner and Constance Knox; a brother, Peter Rossi and a sister, Rita Yager.

Funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment Elmwood Hill Cemetery in Troy.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Rosewood Gardens for the devoted and loving care for Anita over the years and thank Hospice for their support.
