Elsie Zillhardt,94

Colonie Elsie Zillhardt,94, died Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at Albany County Nursing Home.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Zillhardt and Ottilie (Pentek) Zillhardt.

She had resided in the Troy area all her life and was a graduate of Troy High School class of 1927, Russell Sage College class of 1932 and earned her Masters from NY University in 1939.

Ms. Zillhardt taught school in Colonie for 2 years and was a medical secretary for a local physician.

Survivors include a sister, Ottlilia Eycleshimer of Troy; a nephew, John Zillhardt of Minneapolis, MN and a niece, Janet Asphaug of Norway. She was predeceased by a brother, Jacob Zillhardt, MD and a sister, Wilhelmina Delamater.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. Andrew Russ, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 10:30-11AM prior to the service.

Interment Elmwood Hill Cemetery in Troy.
