Ella Bly Gardy

Ella Bly Gardy, 87

Grafton Ella Bly Gardy, 87, of Route 2, died Thursday at Albany Medical Center Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Poestenkill, she was daughter of the late Frank and Sarah Crandall Bly and wife of the late Michael Gardy. She had resided in Poestenkill for several years and in Grafton for the past 50 years.

Mrs. Gardy was a homemaker. She was a member of the Grafton Senior Citizens.

Survivors include two sons, Gary and Raymond Gardy both of Grafton; eight grandchildren, Kenneth Gardy, Veronica Adams, Rayann Kochian, Michael, Lester Jr. and Eugene Gardy, Gena Waters and Julie Fusco; 16 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Lester Gardy Sr. and a sister Stella Putcka.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00am from the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. corner of Pawling at Maple Avenues in Troy with Rev. Michael White, Pastor of the Eagle Mills Christian Church, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 4-7pm. Interment Eagle Mills Cemetery in Eagle Mills.
