Brunswick, NY- Elizabeth Allen Wallace, 62,of West Road, Brunswick, died Friday, January 6, 2006, at Samaritan Hospital in Troy.
Betsy was born in Mexico City and grew up in Bethesda, Maryland. She was the daughter of Elizabeth (Hughes) Allen and the late Henry E. Allen. In 1963 she married Richard P. Wallace, Esq. After graduating from Brown University they relocated to the Capital District.

She was a board member of Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood and gave her energy to many other educational and environmental causes. She will be remembered by those close to her as firm in her convictions and generous in her love.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood, The Albany Academy for Girls, or Northeast Health Foundation.
