Elizabeth Martin Creagan

Troy Elizabeth Martin Creagan, of Burdett Avenue, died Monday at Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center Troy, after a long illness.
Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Alexander and Anna Rawlins Martin and wife of the late Leo F. Creagan Sr. She was a life long resident of Troy and was educated in Troy schools
Mrs. Creagan was an operator for the New York Telephone Company in Menands for 25 years retiring in 1973.
She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and active in the Brunswick Church.
Survivors include two sons, Leo F. Creagan Jr. (Sue) of Speigletown, NY and James W. Bass (Chris) of Ausable Forks, NY; two daughters, Ann Bass Weeks (Rev. Emory) of Tunkhannock, PA and Marion Bass Ralston (Thomas) of Attleboro, MA; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mabel E. Burgess and Marion Whinnery.
A Memorial service will be held Wednesday at 10:30am from the Brunswick Church 42 White Church Lane Brunswick. There will be no calling hours. Interment Brookside Cemetery in Brunswick.
