Emeline E. Czarnecki Spratt, 96

Troy Emeline E. Czarnecki Spratt, 96 ,of Billings Avenue, went home to God on Friday, November 5, 2004.

Emeline was the daughter of immigrant parents from Poland, William Czarnecki and Josephine Kobuszewska Czarnecki who raised 9 children in Watervliet. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William F. Spratt and all of her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her loving son, Daniel J. Spratt of Troy; a daughter and son-in-law, Marita and Larry VanDerveer of Macedon, NY; several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Spratt was a graduate of Watervliet High School and employed as a secretary for Sacred Heart Church in Troy from 1959-1972. Prior to that she worked many years ago at Agricultural Markets in Albany and was a homemaker for many years.

She was a communicant of St. Michael the Archangel Church in North Greenbush and a former member of the Women's Club of Sacred Heart Church.

Her trademark wit and fiery spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral service will be held Monday, November 8, 2004 at 10:00 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Church Williams Road in North Greenbush where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Thomas Konopka, Pastor. There will be no calling hours. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery in Troy.
