Eleanor Murray Zajesky, 86

North Greenbush - Eleanor Murray Zajesky, 86,of N. Greenbush, died Saturday, August 26, 2006 at Van Rensselaer Manor after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late William Murray and Katherine (Flanagan) Murray and wife of the late Theodore J. Zajesky.

She had resided in Troy all her life and was educated at Troy schools.

Mrs. Zajesky was employed at Cluett, Peabody and Company, Teresian House and Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center.

She was a communicant of St. Francis de Sales Church in Troy.

Survivors include two daughters, Catherine Bourke of Ohio and Ellen M. Fortune of Latham; two sons, James Zajesky (Sandra) of Malta and William Zajesky (Nancy) of Latham; three sisters, Marguerite Campana (Jerry) of Troy, Joan Lopez of Troy and Eileen Cushine (James) of NC, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Theodore Zajesky Jr.; five brothers, Edward, Jack, Frank, James and William Zajesky and two sisters, Kathleen Cushman and Jeanne Lemke.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 7pm at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. Donald Ophals, Pastor of St. Francis de Sales Church, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 5-7pm, prior to the service.
