Edna M. Pascoe Giamis, 83 Cohoes Edna M. Pascoe Giamis, 83, of Lancaster Street, died suddenly Friday at St. Mary's Hospital Troy. Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Clark B. and Edna Carlisle Pascoe. She had resided in Cohoes for the past 22 years and prior to that many years in Troy and was educated at Watervliet schools and Watervliet High School. Mrs. Giamis was waitress at the former Hendrick Hudson Hotel in Troy many years ago and later a nurses aide at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy, retiring in 1984. She was a communicant of St. Brigid's Church in Watervliet. Survivors include three daughters Frances White and husband Charles of Lansingburgh, Patricia Jacques of Cohoes and Mary Repp and husband Edward of Lansingburgh; a son Anthony Giamis and wife Karen of Ballston Spa; a sister Naomi Halbohn of Mahopac, NY; a son-in-law Edward Conway of Brunswick; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter Linda Louise Conway; five sisters Ida DeLaTorre, B. Louise Pascoe, Dorothy Quigley, Ruth Corbin and Frances Pascoe; a brother John Pascoe and a son-in-law David Jacques. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 9:30am from the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. corner of Pawling at Maple Avenues in Troy and at 10:00am from St. Brigid's Church in Watervliet where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
