Edna M. Clickner Bailey

North Greenbush Edna M. Clickner Bailey, 87, of Blooming Grove Drive, died Monday at Samaritan Hospital Troy, after a brief illness.
Born in Wynantskill, she was daughter of the late Benjamin L. and Laverna Woodin Clickner and wife of the late William W. Bailey. She had resided in the Wynantskill area most of her life and was educated at Troy High School and Mildred Elley School in Albany.
Mrs. Bailey was a librarian for the State University of New York at Albany for 20 years retiring in 1981 and a housewife and mother.
She was a lifelong, active member of the First Reformed Church of Wynantskill and a member of its Women's Guild, a Sunday school teacher. She was also a member of the Wynantskill and Poestenkill Senior Citizens and a avid Mets baseball fan.
Survivors include two sons, Brian W. Bailey (Mary Ellen) of Troy and Paul E. Bailey (Dixie) of Las Vegas and three grandchildren, Brian W. Bailey Jr. (Heather) of Rochester, Mark E. Bailey of Colonie and Denyse Shaner (Michael) of Las Vegas. She was predeceased by a sister, Mildred Whitbeck and a brother, Winiford Clickner.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service which will be held Wednesday at 11:00AM from First Reformed Church of Wynantskill Main Avenue and Church Street in Wynantskill with Rev. John L. Magee, Pastor of the Blooming Grove Reformed Church, officiating. There will be no calling hours. Interment Memory's Garden in Colonie.
