Dr. V. Elizabeth Moyer Frachioni, 75

Troy- Dr. V. Elizabeth Moyer Frachioni, 75,of Brunswick Hills Troy, died Friday, April 28, 2006 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy after a long illness.

Born in Vineland, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Ira Moyer and Rohde (Hansen) Moyer and wife of the late Frederick T. Frachioni.

She had resided in New York City for several years and in the Troy area since 1971 and was a graduate of the University of Toronto, the University of Ottawa class of 1961 where she earned her Doctor of Medicine and continued at Albany Medical College specializing in pathology.

Dr. Moyer was a pathologist at the Samaritan Hospital laboratory in Troy since 1984.

She loved her family, co-workers, all people and was a communicant of Our Lady of Victory Church in Troy.

Survivors include her four sons, Michael Frachioni (Christie) of Pittsburgh, PA, Matthew Frachioni of Auburn, AL, Mark Frachioni (Renee) of Troy and Martin Frachioni (Mary) of Rochester; nine grandchildren, Anthony, Joseph, Kara, Maggie, Charlie, Peter, Dylan, Rachell and Erin Frachioni; a brother, Peter Moyer (Nancy) of Vista, CA; a sister, Inge Viau (Richard) of Battersea, Ontario; a sister-in-law, Elsa Offersen of California and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Samuel Moyer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Victory Church North Lake Avenue and Marshland Court in Troy with Rev. Randall Patterson. Pastor.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Sunday from 4-8 PM.

Interment Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, in Flushing, NY.
