Dorothy M. Lammon Bertasso, 90

Troy - Dorothy M. Lammon Bertasso, 90, formerly of Gurley Avenue Troy died Tuesday, July 06, 2010, at Northwoods at Troy after a long illness.

Born in Kingston, she was daughter of the late Willard Joy and Helen Morgan Joy and wife of the late Peter Bertasso Sr and former wife of the late Raymond J. Lammon. She had resided in Kingston until 1941 and lived in Iowa, Illinois and Georgia and in Troy for most of her life and was a graduate of Kingston City High School and Benedictine Hospital School of Nursing in Kingston.

Mrs. Bertasso was a registered nurse for 65 years working in numerous facilities including St. Mary's Hospital, Leonard Hospital and Albany County Nursing Home.

Survivors include a son, Raymond R. (Diane) Lammon, Troy;a daughter, Judith Ann (William) Wood, Clifton Park, 10 grandchildren, Scott (Jennifer) Lammon, Latham, Gregg (Patricia) Lammon, Troy, Daniel (Tricia) Lammon, Troy, David (Maureen) Lammon, Brunswick, Michael (Shelly) Lammon, Raleigh, NC, Andrew (Brandie) Lammon, Latham, William (Dawn) Wood, Clifton Park, Richard (Suzette) Wood, Troy, Michele (Michael) Miles, Troy and Lisa (William) Jesmain, Troy; 25 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Willard 'Jeff' Joy and a sister, Rose Ellsworth.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 10 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Yanas , Pastor, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, July 11, 2010 from 4-7 PM.

Interment will be in St. Jean's Cemetery Troy.
