Doris J. Deatrick, 79

Averill Park, NY, Doris J. Deatrick, 79, of Indianapolis, IN, died Sunday, December 26, 2004 after a brave battle with lymphoma. Born in New Palestine, IN in 1925. She was the daughter of the late Edward Cleary and Anna (Jones) Cleary. She resided most of her life in Indianapolis and the past year with her daughter's family in Averill Park. Mrs. Deatrick was a registered nurse for over 50 years and retired from Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis. She was a member of The Occupational Health Nurses Assoc. She was a faithful member of Christ Church Cathedral in Indianapolis. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Nerenberg (Daniel) of Averill Park, Janet Deatrick (Emmanuel) of Paris, France and Sharon Deatrick of San Diego, CA.; five grandchildren: Maxwell and Samuel Nerenberg, Corentin, Aimee and Noel Boinnot, and her devoted dog, Whistle, who was at her side to the end. She was predeceased by two brothers, Harold and Tom Cleary. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Christ Church Cathedral in Indianapolis.
