Dorcas Bull Ocker, 95

Troy Dorcas Bull Ocker, 95, of Sixth Avenue, died Thursday, December 11, 2003, at Samaritan Hospital Troy, after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Guy and Cora Pitcher Bull and wife of the late John D. Ocker. She had resided in Troy all her life.

Mrs. Ocker was a homemaker.

She was a past president of the Ilium Literary Club, a life member of the PTA and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church which is now Faith Lutheran Church in Troy.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy J. Curran of Troy; a son, James G. Ocker and wife Lynn of Vero Beach, FL; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Ocker of Chandler, AZ; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceasd by a son, John D. Ocker and a sister, Marion B. Hines.

A memorial service will be held Sunday at 1pm at Faith Lutheran Church Leversee Road in Troy with Rev. Stephen L. Cordes, Pastor, officiating. There will be no calling hours. Interment Oakwood Cemetery in Troy.
