Donald Irwin McNeill, 73

Brunswick Donald Irwin McNeill, 73, of Langmore Lane, died suddenly Monday at his residence of natural causes.

Born in Troy, he was son of the late Samuel and Edna Reynolds McNeill. He had resided in the Troy and Brunswick areas all his life and was a graduate of Troy High School class of 1945.

Mr. McNeill was employed at the Troy Record in 1945 as a printer galley boy for 2 years then worked for Prout Printers and later Walter Snyder Printing both in Troy for a total of 33 years.

He was a member of the King's Solomon Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and a former member of the American Diabetic Association, American Philatelic Society and the Stamp Club. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War serving in Germany with a rank of Corporal.

He is survived by several cousins and many friends and neighbors.

Friends are invited to attend the graveside service which will be held Thursday at 11:30AM from Oakwood Cemetery in Troy with Rev. Fredric F. Leach, Rector of the Trinity Episcopal Church, officiating. Those attending may meet at the Gardner Earl Chapel on Oakwood Avenue at 11:15am Thursday.
