Donald H. Dustin, 93

Poestenkill - Donald H. Dustin, 93, of Plank Road died Sunday, October 7, 2012, at Van Rensselaer Manor after a brief illness.

Born, resided and educated in Poestenkill, he was son of the late Harold Dustin and Eva Ward Dustin Crogan and husband of the late Hester Patterson Dustin.

Mr. Dustin was employed at Arrow-Needes Express as a truck driver and later worked in the maintenance department at Samaritan Hospital for several years, retiring in 1984.

He was a member and Trustee of the Community Church of Grafton. He was an avid fisherman and gardener.

Survivors include a son, Rev. Allen (Carol) Dustin, Averill Park; a daughter, Alice(Ronald) Castagnier, Poestenkill; a sister, Helen Cox, Poway, CA; a brother, Harold Dustin, Latham; four grandchildren and a a niece and nephew. He was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Schiesser.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake on Tuesday from 4-7 PM.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Allen Dustin , son, officiating.

Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery Barberville.
