Dolores Y. (Moulton) Engwer

Wynantskill - Dolores Y. Moulton Engwer, 83 ,  died Monday, June 26, 2017, at St. Peter's Hospital Albany after a long illness.

Born in Schenectady,  was daughter of the late Samuel Arnold Moulton and Dorothy Irene Caffrey Moulton and wife for 57 years of the late George A. Engwer. She had resided a few years in Troy and 61 years in Wynantskill and was a graduate of Troy High School class of 1951 and Hudson Valley Community College. 

For 30 years she worked for the Rensselaer County Health Department in Troy as an office manager, retiring 27 years ago and then as a registration clerk for St. Mary's Hospital for 20 years. She and her husband also operated Engwer Courier Service for over 30 years.  

She was a communicant of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Troy for many years and was a Sunday School teacher for 13 years.  She loved gardening, traveling and her biggest joy was spending time with her grandchildren

Survivors include a daughter, Deborah (Robert) Kuhn, Wynantskill; two sons, Paul (Kathy) Engwer, Averill Park and Eric (Hollie) Engwer, Kennesaw, GA; a son-in-law, James Coons, Wynantskill; nine grandchildren, Andrew Webler III,  Robert (Audrey) Kuhn, Jonathan (Felicia) Kuhn, Ashley (Samuel) Broughton, Bradley and Cody Engwer, James Coons and Shelby and Nicholas Engwer; five great grandchildren, Jayde, Lillian, Connor and Ian Engwer, and Skylar Ann Broughton; a sister, Geraldine (Randall) Vincent, Florida and a brother, David (Michelle) Moulton, Florida.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Wendy (James) Coons.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 4-7 PM. 

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 AM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church State and Third Streets Troy with Rev. Michael Gorchov, Rector, officiating.

Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery Troy.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Dolores Y. Engwer to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
