Diane (O'Brien) Parry-Hill

March 14, 1947 ~ January 3, 2017 (age 69) 69 Years Old

Sand Lake - Diane Parry-Hill, 69, of Route 43 died suddenly Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Joseph I. O'Brien and Helen Margaret Bailey O'Brien and wife for 40 years of Jerome Parry-Hill. She had resided in Sand Lake for 35 years and earned her Bachelor's degree from Russell Sage College in Special Education. 

Mrs. Parry-Hill was a secretary in the Crisis Unit in Northeast Health at Samaritan Hospital for 10 years retiring 9 years ago and a training clerk for diabetes at Memorial Hospital.  

She was a member of the Greenbush YMCA Pool Buddies.     

Survivors in addition to her husband include her three children, Shannon (Fred) Greene, New Milford, CT, Jeremiah (Tanvi) Parry-Hill, Rochester and Meghan Parry-Hill, Sarasota, FL; three siblings, Janet (Dr. James) Aram, Menands, Joseph E. (Mary Ellen) O'Brien, Loudonville and Nancy (John) Caplan, Old Greenwich, CT; two grandchildren, Quinn Patrick and Riley Jack Greene and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 12-2 PM with a service to follow at 2PM. 

Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery Troy.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Diane Parry-Hill to the American Diabetes Association 2 Pine West Plaza Albany, NY 12205.
