Deborah J. Luce Stacy, 54

Troy - Deborah J. Luce Stacy, 54, of Patricia Drive died Tuesday, December 01, 2009, at Samaritan Hospital Troy after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of Nancy E. Phoenix Luce of Troy and the late Walter Luce Sr. and wife of John M. Stacy. She had resided in Troy all her life and was a graduate of Troy High School.

Mrs. Stacy was a store manager for Freihofer Baking Company in Albany and Defreestville for over 20 years.

She loved going to the casinos and spending time with her family. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother and sister and the oldest of all her siblings.

Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include her devoted daughters, Farrah (Raymond) DeGonza of Latham and Jennifer Stacy of Menands; two beloved grandchildren, Kayla and Cameron; her brothers and sisters, John P. (Patricia) Luce of Troy, Kathleen (John Snyder) Camprone of Wynantskill, Pamela (Victor) Higgins of Troy, Cynthia (Richard) Schickler of CT and Walter E. (Nicholl) Luce Jr. of Troy and several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Karen M. Luce.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Church Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 PM.

Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy.

The family would like to especially thank the staff and nurses of the Samaritan Hospital ICU.
