Troy- Daniel A. LaPort ,44, taken from us suddenly Sunday, June 25, 2006.

Born and resided in Troy all his life he was son of the late Carmie LaPort-Dooley and Aaron LaPort.

He was a 1981 graduate of Troy High School.

Danny was staff steward at Freihofer Baking Company where he worked for the past 27 years.

Danny had an awesome sense of humor and always brought a smile to everyone's face. Danny's passions were spending time with his beloved family and friends; mainly Dave DeWaters, Dave Nichols, Patrick Valenti, and Tom Essenter, with whom he loved riding his Harley. His other hobbies included whitewater rafting and hunting.

He is survived by his beloved sons, Daniel and Ryan; brother Jerry; sisters Donna Carroll (John), Karen Albanese (Gabe), and Erin LaPort. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Funeral service will be held Thursday at 9:00am at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and at 9:30 at Sacred Heart Church in Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8pm.
