Clearwater, FL Clifford F. Clark Sr., 77, Highway 19, died Wednesday at Countryside Mease Clearwater, FL after a long illness.

Born in Poughkeepsie, NY he was son of the late Harold and Onalova Wheeler Clark and husband of Colleen D. Stedman Clark. He had resided in Florida for the past 8 years and prior to that was in Nassau and West Sand Lake.

Mr. Clark was a glazer for American Glass and Collins Lumber in Troy for many years retiring in 1986.

He was a former member of the West Sand Lake Fire Company and a Navy veteran of World War II and Korea.

Survivors in addition to his wife include his children Clifford F. Clark Jr. of West Sand Lake, Gloria Fisher of Watervliet, Joseph T. Clark of West Sand Lake, Lillian Ellis of West Sand Lake, John Clark of Newburgh, Theresa Cano of New Mexico, Monte Clark of Averill Park, Jane Dzembo of West Sand Lake, Melissa Caswell of Stephentown, Robert Beckwith of East Greenbush, Sandra Schumacher of West Sand Lake, Frank Beckwith of West Sand Lake, Mark Beckwith of Snyders Lake, Melinda Stokes of Nassau, John Beckwith of Nassau, Scott Beckwith of Nassau, Guy Beckwith of East Greenbush and Colleen Stevens of Castleton; a sister Shirley Granderath of Clearwater; two brothers William Clark of Pattersonville and Joseph Clark of Latham; 52 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00am from the Salem United Methodist Church Shaver Road West Sand Lake with Rev. Louis Guariniello, Pastor, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the Salem Church Sunday from 4-8PM. Interment Gerald B. H. Soloman National Cemetery in Schuylerville at 1pm with full military honors.
