Christopher William Faure, 53

Averill Park - Christopher William Faure, 53, of Cayuga Court died Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at Albany Medical Center Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Boston, MA, he was son of Jeannette Glunder Faure of Fultonville and the late William Faure and husband of Teresita Martinez Faure. He had resided in Averill Park for 10 years and was a graduate of Mohonasen High School and a 1976 graduate of Long Island University in South Hampton.

Mr. Faure was a Budget Analyst Supervisor for the New York State Department of Mental Health since 1994.

He was a member of Troy Stamp Club and Reachout Fellowship and enjoyed fishing. He was an Army veteran stationed at West Point from 1976-79.

Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include a daughter, Steffi Ana Faure of Averill Park; a son Tristan Robert Faure of Averill Park; a sister, Catherine L. Faure of Dover, NH and two nieces, Danielle and Adrianna Martinez.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 noon to 2 PM.
