Palm Coast, FL - Charlotte Eisel Kirchert, 99, died Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Grand Oaks Health and Rehab. in Palm Coast , Florida.

Born in Reichenbach Saxony, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Reinhard Frank Eisel and Anna (Dietze) Eisel and wife of the late Charles H. Kirchert Sr.

She had resided on Pleasant View Avenue in Brunswick for 30 years, retiring to Florida in 1991 and was educated at New York Business College.

Mrs. Kirchert was employed as a cost accountant for The Borden Company in Menands, retiring in 1973.

She was a member of Palestine Star Chapter #167 Order of the Eastern Star Troy being secretary, Grand Officer and Worthy Matron in 1963. A Grand Representative for West Virginia, Bunnell Chapter #93 Order of the Eastern Star Florida, a member of the Third Presbyterian Church in Troy and the First United Methodist Church of Bunnell, FL.

Survived by her children, Dorothy Lafferty and husband, Melvin, of Homosassa, FL., Charles H. Kirchert, Jr. and wife, Joan, of Flagler, FL, Dolores Wilson and husband, Robert, of Tarpon Springs, FL and Cynthia Marks and husband, Edmund, of Plymouth, MA; a brother, Henry Eisel of Baldwinsville, New York; 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren and 4 nieces and 1 nephew. She was predeceased by two brothers, John and Rudolph Eisel.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 12 noon at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. John McAuley, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 11-12 prior to the service.

Interment Memory's Garden in Colonie.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Charlotte Kirchert to the Third Presbyterian Church 113 Winter Street Troy, NY 12180.
