Cecelia E. Abbt Soucy, 90

Watervliet Cecelia E. Abbt Soucy, 90, of Seventh Avenue, died Thursday at Julie Blair Rehabilitation Center Albany after a long illness.

Born in Boston, MA she was daughter of the late Julius and Marie Kelly Abbt and wife of the late Orville Brenenstuhl and Joseph Soucy. She had resided in Boston, Grafton and Watervliet and was educated at Boston and Grafton schools.

Mrs. Soucy was employed at Behr-Manning in Watervliet during World War II as a grinder and Cluett, Peabody and Company as a floor lady for many years retiring in the early 70's.

She was a member of the AARP.

Survivors include a daughter, Macel Kennedy of Brunswick; five grandchildren, John Robert Brenenstuhl of NC, Robert G. Brenenstuhl of Johnsonville, John F. Kennedy Jr. of Salem, Robert E. Kennedy of Brunswick and Diane Amari of CT. She was also survived by several great grandchildren; great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Robert O. Brenenstuhl and 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 9:00am from the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. corner of Pawling at Maple Avenue Troy and at 9:30am from Sacred Heart Church in Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 1-5pm.

Interment Grafton Center Cemetery in Grafton.
