Carolyn A. Pike Haskins, 69

Maplewood - Carolyn A. Pike Haskins, 69, of Easy Street died Monday, January 17, 2011, at Kindred Parkview Hospital Springfield, MA after a long illness.

Born in Burlington, VT, she was daughter of the late Albert C. Pike and Thelma A. Blow Pike and wife for 53 years of Robert N. Haskins. She had resided most of her life in the Troy area and in Maplewood since 2001 and was a graduate of Troy High School.

Carol was employed for 35 years as a waitress at Manory's Restaurant in Troy, retiring due to ill health in 2004.

She was a member of the Eastern Star and was past Grand Representative for California to New York, a two term Matron of the Bethlehem Star Chapter, and a member of the Third Presbyterian Church of Troy. She enjoyed camping at Deer Run in Mechanicville with her family for 20 years. She loved to spend time with her granddaughter and was a clown collector.

Survivors in addition to her husband a son, Robert (Cheryl) Haskins Jr., Maplewood; a daughter, Vicki (Kenneth) White, Waterford; a granddaughter, Rebecca Haskins; a sister, Jacqueline Teeling, Troy and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Albert Larry Pike and Charles B. Pike.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 12:30 PM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and with Rev. John McAuley , Pastor of Third Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-8 PM.

Interment will be in Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery Schuylerville.
