C. Sandra (Cross) Alderman

Center Brunswick - C. Sandra Alderman, 74, of Keyes Lane passed away peacefully with her family at her side, Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Samaritan Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Maurice Cross and Martha Carafano Cross and wife for 57 years of L. Norman  Alderman. She was raised in Troy and resided in Center Brunswick since 1966 and was a graduate of Troy High School class of 1956. 

Sandy was a waitress at Duncan's Dairy Bar in Center Brunswick for 20 years, a cafeteria worker for  HMB Consultants, Inc in the Troy City School District for 10 years and later worked at the RPI Bookstore.   

She was a devoted mother and homemaker who’s hobbies included RV'ing, motorcycling and crocheting. She spent the winter in the Orlando, Florida area  for 25 years with her husband.  She loved her 5 cats.
    
Survivors in addition to her husband include two sons, Jeffrey N Alderman, Brunswick and T. Mark (Suzanne) Alderman, Brunswick; her grandchildren, Vanessa Cramer, Scott Alderman, Tara Tanner, Savana Alderman, John (Karen) D’Amico and David Alderman; her great grandchildren, Arabella and Jameson.  She was predeceased by two sons, David M. and N. Scott Alderman; a brother, W. Gary Cross and a daughter-in-law, Jill Garfoli-Alderman.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Friday October 23, 2015 from 4-7PM with a funeral service to follow at 7PM with Rev. Edward  Kacerguis, officiating.

Interment will be in Stephentown Cemetery Stephentown at a later date.
