Averill Park Bonnie E. Heffner Mortimer , 52 ,of Route 43 Averill Park died Sunday, January 2, 2005 at her residence after a long illness.

Born in Poestenkill, she was the daughter of Evelyn (Hefner) Heffner of Poestenkill and the late Chester Heffner and wife of Brian Mortimer and the late Dennis M. Loiselle.

She had resided in the Poestenkill and Averill Park areas all her life and was a 1970 graduate of Averill Park High School.

Bonnie was a homemaker. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Sullivan-Jones VFW Post # 7466 in Poestenkill.

Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include a son, Dennis H. Loiselle 'Amy' of Wynantskill; three daughters, Bonnie A. Catlin (Loiselle) 'Danny' of South Westerlo, Katie L. Loiselle of Schaghticoke and Lauren D. Loiselle of Averill Park; a sister, Pam Fleming 'Michael' of East Schodack and 3 grandchildren, Samantha, Dennis Jr. and Colby Loiselle. She was predeceased by a sister, Diana Leichenauer and a grandson, Christopher Loiselle.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Poestenkill NY Route 351 Poestenkill with Rev. Stephen Cordes, Pastor, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Interment Brookside Cemetery in Barberville.

Contributions may be made in memory of Bonnie Mortimer to The Community Hospice of Rensselaer County 295 Valley View Boulevard Rensselaer, NY 12144.
