Beverly Wingert Sewell, 84

North Greenbush- Beverly Wingert Sewell, 84, formerly of Averill Park, died Sunday, October 22, 2006 at Van Rensselaer Manor after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Edmund Wingert and Margaret (Agars) Wingert and wife of the late Roland J. Sewell.

She was raised in Troy and had resided in Averill Park since 1961 and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School in Troy and Mildred Elley in Albany.

Mrs. Sewell worked for 40 years, in many capacities, at the Marine Midland Bank originally on Franklin Square in Troy and later as branch manager in Brunswick, retiring in 1982. She later owned and operated, with her husband and daughter, The Laundry Basket in the 43 Mall in West Sand Lake.

She was a communicant of St. Henry's Church in Averill Park .

Survivors include her daughter, Robin J. Sewell; her son-in-law, John Wasyluk and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Marion Lorenzo and a brother, Edmund 'Bud' Wingert.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 9:30am at St. Henry's Church in Averill Park where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Provost, Pastor. There will be no calling hours. Interment Elmwood Cemetery in West Sand Lake.
