Beatrice H. Schreiner Ranken

Beatrice H. Schreiner Ranken, 88, of Grandview Drive Rensselaer, died Tuesday at Rosewood Gardens East Greenbush, after a brief illness.
Born in Sand Lake, she was daughter of the late George and Margaret Schellhaas Schreiner and wife of the late Merrill Irving Ranken and Millard Coonradt. She had resided in Wynantskill and Troy for many years and in Rensselaer for the past 12 years.
Mrs. Ranken was employed at Emma Willard School Troy in housekeeping, retiring in 1991.
She was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church in Troy.
Survivors include a niece. Elizabeth Revoir of Troy; two nephews, Henry Hermance of Rensselaer and Frank Schreiner of Troy; a great nephew Kenneth Bloomer of Rensselaer and several other great and great great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five sisters, Eva Wolcatt, Elizabeth Krause, Freda Sans, Anna File and Marie Hermance; three brothers, John, Elmer and Fred Schreiner and 12 nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:00pm from the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. John Mcauley, Pastor of the Third Presbyterian Church, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 11-1pm prior to the service. Interment Elmwood Hill Cemetery in Troy.
