Barbara Danish Simonds, 84

Cincinnati, OH - Barbara Danish Simonds, 84, formerly of Wynantskill, died Monday, March 17, 2008 in Cincinnati after a long illness.

Born in Colonie, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Danish and Justine (Spiak) Danish and wife of the late Raymond I. Simonds.

She had resided in Colonie and Watervliet, in Wynantskill since 1957 and in Ohio for the past 2 years and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School.

Mrs. Simonds was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill.

She is survived by a son, Robert R. (Pamela) Simonds of West Chester, OH; two brothers, Stephen (Grace) Danish of FL and Leon (Margaret) Danish of Latham; three grandchildren, Michael and Patrick Simonds and Katherine (Matthew) Schardt; two great grandchildren, Ethan and Samuel Simonds; two nieces and a nephew, Margaret Jones, George Anselment and Marilyn Simmons. She was predeceased by a son, Thomas J. Simonds and her sisters, Mary Mihalsky, Julia Andrisco, Katherine Gauvin and Sophia Karwiel.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church Brookside Avenue Wynantskill where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Salvatore Rodino, Pastor.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Monday from 9:30-10:30 AM.

Interment St. Mary's Cemetery in Troy,.
