Antoinette B. Spass Garner, 92

Troy - Antoinette B. Spass Garner, 92, of Second Street died Tuesday, August 25, 2009, peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Cohoes, she was daughter of the late Rudolf Spass and Anna Kubis Spass and wife of the late Walter L. Garner. She was raised and educated in Cohoes and resided for 56 years in Troy.

Mrs. Garner was a homemaker.

She enjoyed bowling, was an auxiliary member and a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Troy.

Survivors include five sons, Walter Garner of Troy, Daniel Garner of Troy, Alfred (Jeanette) Garner of Wynantskill, Francis (Diana) Garner of Watervliet and Michael (Ann Marie) Garner of Troy; three daughters, Joan (David) Fennelly of Schaghticoke, Diane Garner of Troy and Linda (John) Quillinan of Defreestville; a son-in-law, Donald Dunham of Brunswick; 47 grandchildren; 83 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Ronald and Richard Garner; a daughter, Antoinette Dunham and two brothers and five sisters.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 9:30am at Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and at 10:00am at St. Joseph's Church 416 Third Street Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-7PM.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Troy.
