Anthony M. Winarowski

Troy - Anthony M. Winarowski, 74, formerly of South River Street died Monday, October 26, 2015, at The Springs Nursing & Rehab Center after a long illness.

Born in Troy, he was son of the late Michael Winarowski and Lydia Bartkowski Winarowski. He had resided in Troy all his life and on South River Street for 50 years. 

Anthony worked for the Watervliet Arsenal, Albany Post Office, and John L. Thompson and for 10 years in food service for Here Union Local for New York State.  

He was a member of the Polish Community Center and a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Troy.  He served his country in the Army and Air Force during the Vietnam War in Vietnam and Germany.   

Survivors include a brother, Michael T Winarowski, Troy; a nephew, Joseph Winarowski, Troy and a niece, Darcy Winarowski, VT.  He was predeceased by two brothers, John and Joseph Winarowski.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Thursday October 29, 2015 from 10-11AM with a service to follow at 11AM.  

Interment will be in  St. Joseph's Cemetery Troy.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Anthony M. Winarowski to the Charity of one's choice.
