Anna Kluck Devan, 87

Poestenkill - Anna Kluck Devan, 87, of Devan Road died Tuesday November 4, 2008 at Eddy Heritage House Nursing Center Troy after a long illness.

Born in Chicago, IL, she was daughter of the late Michael and Katherine Kluck and wife of the late Stephen Devan.

She was born in Chicago, resided in St. Charles, VA and Albany and since 1950 in Poestenkill. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Devan attended Blooming Grove Reformed Church in Defreestville.

Survivors include her devoted son, Stephen R. (Sandra) Devan of Poestenkill; two sisters, Bertha Estep of Benham, KY and Mildred Kennedy of Chicago; a grandson, Timothy Richards and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister and three brothers.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 10:30 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. James Hart Brumm, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 9:30-10:30AM prior to the service.

Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy. Contributions may be made in memory of Anna Devan to the The Community Hospice of Rensselaer County 295 Valley View Boulevard Rensselaer, NY 12144 or Blooming Grove Reformed Church 706 Blooming Grove Drive Rensselaer, NY 12144.
