Ann "Babe" Milkiewicz, 88

North Greenbush - Ann "Babe" Milkiewicz, 88, entered into eternal life December 18, 2012 at the Van Rensselaer Manor.

She was born and raised in Watervliet, she was a graduate of Watervliet High School.

Ann enjoyed spending many wonderful summers at her home on Burden Lake and winters with her husband in Florida.

She was daughter of the late Peter Lizak and Mary Dymaj. Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph of 64 years; a sister, Elizabeth Napolitano and 2 brothers, Frederick and Nicholas Lizak.

She is survived by her loving children, JoAnn (Arthur) Kazanjian of North Greenbush, Joseph (Karen) Milkiewicz of Averill Park, Jeffrey (Mollie) Milkiewicz of Queensbury, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

The family expresses gratitude to the compassionate staff at the Van Rensselaer Manor who lovingly cared for our mother.

Respecting Ann's wishes, there will be no viewing and the service will be private.
