Angela C. (Marinacci) Cutro

Somerville, MA - Angela C. Marinacci Cutro, 89, of Morrison Avenue Somerville, MA died Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at Pine Knoll Nursing Center in Lexington, MA. 

Born in Lyndhurst, NJ, she was daughter of the late Pietro (Pete) Marinacci and Risa Simone Marinacci, and wife for 65 years of Joseph A. Cutro. She was raised in Lyndhurst, NJ and resided in Troy for 20 years, Scotch Plains, NJ for 5 years, and in Kinderhook for 40 years.  She was a graduate of Lyndhurst High School in NJ and Hackensack Hospital Nursing School in NJ, class of 1948. 
 
Angela was a Registered Nurse for many years at various hospitals including in Troy, Ellis Hospital in Schenectady and retired in 1977 from Muhlenberg Hospital in Plainfield, NJ.   

She was artistic and feisty, loved gardening and flower arranging and was a member of the Kinderhook Garden Club.  Angela centered her life around family and friends and loved to share her talents as a host and gourmet chef.  She was accomplished at interior decorating and lovingly sewed clothing for her family.  Angela enjoyed NY Yankee baseball with her husband, Joe, and all types of music including swing, jazz, and Barbara Streisand.    

Survivors in addition to her husband include three children, John M. (Anne Liske) Cutro, Albany, Janet A. Cutro, Somerville, MA and Joseph A. Cutro, Jr., Issaquah, WA; five grandchildren, Nina, Moriah and Galen Cutro-Kelly, and Pietro (Pete) M. and Steven A.M. Cutro and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a brother, John (Nino) Marinacci. 

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Monday, June 5, 2017 from 4-6:30 PM with a service of remembrance, to tell your stories, at 6:30PM.  

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 12 Noon at the funeral home with Deacon Charles Wojton, officiating. 

Interment will be in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery Schuylerville, Tuesday at 2PM.
