Troy Christine R. Swartout Delamater, 57, of Stow Avenue, died Wednesday at St.Mary's Hospital Troy after a long illness.
Born in Albany, she was daughter of the late Norman and Helen Warner Swartout and longtime companion of Richard Gardner of Troy.
She had resided in Troy all her life and was a graduate of Troy High School.
Ms. Delamater was a school bus driver for Folmsbee Transportation for the past 20 years and previously for the former Brennan Bus Company.
Survivors in addition to her companion include a daughter Leah Ann Delamater of Troy; two step sons Darryl Gardner and wife Jean of Speigletown and Richard Gardner Jr. and wife Kathy of Bradenton, FL and a grandson Richard Gardner III of Bradenton, FL.
Funeral service private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Interment Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands. Contributions may be made in memory of Ms. Delamater to the American Cancer Society 260 Osborne Road Loudonville, NY 12211.
